Menoufia health authorities arrest two impersonating nutrition specialists in unlicensed facility

Egypt’s Menoufia health directorate has raided an unlicensed medical center and arrested two people, including a pharmacist, for impersonating therapeutic nutrition specialists.

• The raid by the Free Treatment Administration and the Egyptian Drug Authority seized unauthorised medicines and medical preparations.
• The two suspects were caught practising therapeutic nutrition activities without a licence.
• Menoufia health undersecretary Dr. Amr Mustafa Mahmoud said the directorate will continue to target illegal medical entities and individuals.
• The health directorate urged citizens to verify licences before dealing with any medical service provider.
