Egypt's irrigation ministry reported 12.4 million cubic meters of flash flood water captured at protection facilities in South Sinai and the Red Sea governorates.
- The ministry's Flood Forecasting Center had forecast rain of varying intensity across parts of the two governorates for October 24–26.
- Initial ministry estimates indicate roughly 10 million cubic meters was held at Wadi Al-Zalaga and Ghalim dams and Al-Zalaga Lake in South Sinai.
- About 2.4 million cubic meters was captured at two artificial lakes and the Umm Saleha and Umm Harina dams in the Shalateen and Sheikh El-Shazly areas of the Red Sea governorate.
- The Nuwaiba–Taba road was closed preventatively while floods ran, and rain filled harvesting reservoirs in North Sinai's Al-Kuntilla area.
