Egyptian education directorates set contract documents for fifth-phase teacher hires

Education directorates have sent letters to affiliated administrations listing the documents required for contracting successful candidates in the fifth phase of the 30,000-teacher competition.

• Directorates announced that candidates issued ministerial decision No. 225 of 2026 for assistant-teacher contracts must prepare the required documents and await the signing date.
• Required documents include a valid national ID, criminal record sheet, birth certificate, qualification copy, military or public service certificates, drug test, and personal photo.
• Original documents must be delivered to the educational administration along with a medical examination form, financial disclosure statement, and any additional documents requested.
• Directorates said they will examine grievances from candidates in phases one through five, including persons with disabilities, ahead of work handover.
