Egypt poultry prices rise, egg prices fall on Wednesday

Egypt's average live poultry price rose on Wednesday while the average egg carton price fell, after poultry prices held steady on Tuesday.

• The average live poultry price rose 44 piasters to 106.51 EGP per kilo on Wednesday, the Cabinet's Information Center price portal reported.
• The average egg carton price fell 3.88 EGP to 114.44 EGP the same day, while the baladi egg carton rose 1.82 EGP to 136.28 EGP.
• White chicken held at 74 EGP per kilo at the farm and 84 EGP for consumers on Tuesday, after a recent two-pound decline.
