Egypt's Social Solidarity Ministry opens elderly-care training and jobs to Takaful and Karama families

The Ministry of Social Solidarity has announced training and employment opportunities in elderly care, giving priority to families benefiting from the Takaful and Karama program.

• The ministry announced two training programs: Resident Elderly Companion, lasting 19 training days, and Primary Home Health Care Provider, lasting 36 days.
• The ministry said training costs are fully covered and graduates will be contracted through the Care with Love association with rights under Egyptian labor law.
• The ministry set November 30, 2026, as the application deadline, with applicants aged 18–45 required to hold a middle school certificate or lower.
