Sisi and Rosatom chief review El Dabaa nuclear plant progress in Moscow

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met Rosatom head Alexey Likhachev in Moscow to discuss implementation of the El Dabaa nuclear power plant.

• Sisi received Likhachev in Moscow on the sidelines of the third Russia-Africa Summit.
• Sisi stressed the importance of joint coordination to complete the plant within the specified time frames.
• Likhachev reaffirmed Rosatom's commitment to finishing the project and reviewed its current implementation status.
• Sisi said the plant supports Egypt's efforts to raise renewable energy's share of the total energy mix.
