Cairo University National marks Cavity Free Day with dental awareness lectures and student campaigns

Cairo University National organized the Cavity Free Day 2026 event, combining expert lectures with student-designed awareness materials on oral health prevention.
- The university held the event under the patronage of president Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek, with Mohamed El-Attar overseeing academic affairs.
- Dr. Mohamed Ayoub, head of the dentistry sector committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, attended alongside Cairo University Dentistry Dean Geraldine Ahmed.
- Faculty member Dr. Rasha Raafat presented a talk on the day's aims, and Dr. Ahmed El-Houshry delivered a lecture titled "The Cavity That Never Happened."
- Six student groups designed banners on oral hygiene, while students used artificial intelligence to produce educational videos on brushing and flossing.
