Barcelona targets Tottenham's Pedro Porro ahead of the January window

Barcelona has opened talks to sign Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro in January, despite financial constraints and Tottenham's demands possibly delaying the move.

• Barcelona has begun preparations for a move, with manager Hansi Flick asking officials to act quickly to strengthen the right-back position.
• Sporting director Deco has contacted the Spanish international's representatives, and Porro is open to joining Barcelona.
• Tottenham has demanded more than €60 million for Porro.
• Club treasurer Ferran Olivé said any new January signing must be matched by a player sale.
