(opens the publisher’s site)The Chicago Bears have acquired All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans for two first-round draft picks.
- The Bears sent first-round picks in 2027 and 2028 plus a 2027 fourth-rounder to the Titans for Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round selection.
- The deal is the first in the common draft era in which a defensive tackle has been traded for multiple first-round picks.
- Simmons, 29, has four sacks in seven games this season and was a first-team All-Pro in 2025 with a career-best 11 sacks.
- Bears coach Ben Johnson said Wednesday the team holds "constant dialogue" about roster needs ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
