Antonelli and Bottas to miss Mexico City Grand Prix media day with illness

Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli and Cadillac's Valtteri Bottas will miss Mexico City Grand Prix media day, with Antonelli bidding for F1's youngest championship.

• Antonelli, 20, was granted FIA permission to skip media obligations with a viral infection ahead of Friday practice.
• He will clinch his first F1 title with a ninth-place finish or higher in Sunday's race, having won nine races in 2026.
• Cadillac confirmed Bottas also misses media day, calling the absence a precautionary measure that does not affect his participation.
• Cadillac announced teammate Sergio Perez's contract extension to at least 2029 without addressing Bottas's future.
