El-Shenawy eyes Egypt return after Pyramids' eighth straight win

Ahmed El-Shenawy said he aims to return to Egypt's national team, speaking after Pyramids' 2–1 win that kept the club atop the league.

Pyramids defeated Wadi Degla 2–1 on Thursday in round 8, earning its eighth consecutive league victory to lead the standings.
El-Shenawy said he will keep working until he rejoins the national team, calling it the biggest achievement a player can reach.
He wished luck to coach Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan, saying the pair coached him since his youth days at the club.
El-Shenawy said the team treats every match seriously this season after previously reaching advanced stages without winning a title.
