Egyptian Women's Council Joins Canadian Embassy, UNICEF Event for International Day of the Girl

The National Council for Women participated in a Canadian Embassy and UNICEF event marking the International Day of the Girl Child.
- Council deputy chairwoman Nisreen El-Baghdadi joined the event alongside UNICEF representative Natalia Winder Rossi and deputy health minister Abla Al-Alfi.
- Speaking for council head Amal Ammar, El-Baghdadi said the council invests in girls through the "Noura" and "Dawi" programs sponsored by Entissar El-Sisi.
- El-Baghdadi said empowering girls requires engaging boys, citing the "Noor" program promoting equality and positive upbringing.
- El-Baghdadi cited awareness campaigns against female genital mutilation and legislative efforts to criminalize early marriage.
