Giza governor chairs regional population council meeting to review demographic indicators

Giza Governor Ahmed El-Ansari chaired the Regional Population Council's periodic meeting to review demographic indicators and population programmes.

• El-Ansari reviewed a demographic analysis of the governorate covering population growth, education, health, youth employment and unemployment from 2021 to 2025.
• The council heard plans for a Population Week awareness campaign and field activities, scheduled for October 31 to November 5, 2026.
• A report presented to the council stated the Population Unit delivered 2,604 activities from January to October 2026 against a 2,445 target, reaching 111,394 citizens.
• El-Ansari emphasized intensifying coordination among service directorates and partner bodies to improve population indicators.
