Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has backed his project after consecutive defeats to PSG and Real Madrid, ahead of Saturday's LaLiga clash with Alavés.
- Flick said the two losses are part of "a very long road" and nothing is beyond repair, insisting he remains convinced of his approach with the team.
- He confirmed defenders Jules Koundé, Xavi Espart, Eric García and Andreas Christensen, plus midfielder Dani Olmo, are injured for the Alavés match.
- Flick said Lamine Yamal reacted "like a champion" to finishing third in the Ballon d'Or behind Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé.
- Flick voiced concern over Raphinha's repeated Brazil call-ups after the winger returned injured from the international break, and said he wants to manage his minutes.
