Thai organizations plan Phuket protest over Israeli presence and Chabad

More than 20 Thai organizations plan a Saturday protest in Phuket against Israeli activities and the Chabad movement's presence in the country.

• The protest is scheduled for Saturday evening in Phuket's Savan Hin park, with thousands of participants expected.
• Protest leader Saichol Nuchat called for expelling Chabad-linked elements and uprooting what he called the Israeli network in Thailand.
• Organizers accuse Israeli and Chabad-linked elements of illegal commercial activities and seizing assets in Thailand.
• Israeli Ambassador Alona Fisher Kam said the demonstrations reflect displeasure with behavior, not anti-Semitism.
