Egypt's physical therapy syndicate has asked the medical profession risk fund to reconsider its 9,600 EGP fee on private centers and license applicants.
- The syndicate, headed by Dr. Sami Saad, wrote to Fund executive director Hussein Dahrouj demanding the fee's review.
- The syndicate said the 9,600 EGP amount was set under Financial Regulatory Authority decision No. 303 of 2025.
- The syndicate argued that physical therapy centers should be classified as private clinics, not medical centers, and are not subject to Law No. 51 of 1981.
- The syndicate said the fee violates Law No. 3 of 1985, Law No. 51 of 1981, and Law No. 209 of 1994.
