Water main breaks at Al-Raswa station in Port Said, cutting pressure by 60%

Port Said governorate reported an urgent Suez Canal Authority notice of a sudden break in a water main at the Al-Raswa station on Sunday.

• The governorate said the break occurred in one of the water pipes inside the Al-Raswa water station.
• Water pressure will be reduced by 60 percent across all districts of the governorate until repairs are completed.
• The Suez Canal Authority has begun locating the break ahead of maintenance and repair work.
• The governorate will inform citizens of updates and the expected return of normal water pressure.
