(opens the publisher’s site)Barcelona midfielder Gavi has played just 191 minutes this season, starting two matches and sitting out the last two games entirely.
- Gavi started only two matches this season and played no minutes in Barcelona's last two games, the Clasico against Real Madrid and the match versus Alaves.
- Newspaper As reported that only four first-team players have fewer minutes: Alejandro Balde (116), Frenkie de Jong (98), Bryan Fariñas (90) and Roni Bardghi (0).
- Gavi opened the season in the starting lineup against Elche on August 23, then returned to the XI nearly two months later against Getafe.
- Flick has continued to praise Gavi in press conferences despite the midfielder's diminished role.
