Al Ahly doctor reveals El Shahat injury details before Maqawlon Arab clash

Al Ahly team doctor Ahmed Gaballah said Hussein El Shahat reported lower abdominal muscle pain and will undergo medical tests in the coming period.

• Gaballah said follow-up tests will determine El Shahat's response to treatment and return to training, with no return date disclosed.
• Al Ahly meets Maqawlon Arab on Monday at 8pm at Cairo International Stadium in the second round of the Capital of Egypt Cup group stage.
• Al Ahly opened the tournament with a 5-0 win over Petrol Asyut in the first round.
