Nabila Makram named chair of Sohag National University's board of trustees

Sohag National University's board of trustees elected former Migration Minister Nabila Makram chair in a procedural session led by Higher Education Minister Abdelaziz Konsowa.

• The board of trustees of Sohag National University convened a procedural session chaired by Higher Education Minister Abdelaziz Konsowa.
• The board elected former Migration Minister Nabila Makram as chair and former vice president Lotfy Hamed Abu Dehab as deputy chair.
• Konsowa said the university should support innovation and entrepreneurship and convert research into economically valuable products.
• Konsowa said the ministry plans to establish centers of applied scientific excellence within Egyptian universities.
