Ittihad Alexandria's president says Al Ahly has made no formal offer for Mostafa Ibrahim

Ittihad Alexandria president Mohamed Salama said Al Ahly has not submitted a formal offer for defender Mostafa Ibrahim ahead of the January transfer window.

• Salama said Al Ahly has not contacted the club formally and received no offer, though there may have been talks with the player himself.
• Salama said he would not oppose Ibrahim's departure if Al Ahly presents a financially suitable offer.
• Salama attributed the stance to finances, saying the club's 35-player squad amounts to two teams and selling players is necessary.
• Ibrahim, 26, has appeared in eight matches for Ittihad this season without scoring or assisting.
