(opens the publisher’s site)Moroccan club Raja Casablanca announced on Monday it had parted ways with Spanish head coach Paco Jemez after a poor start to the season.
- Raja announced on Monday it had terminated Jemez's contract following a "comprehensive evaluation" of the team's performance.
- The decision came after Raja lost 2-0 to Nahda Berkane on Sunday, leaving the club 13th in the 16-team Moroccan league with six points from five matches.
- Jemez, 56, took charge of Raja last summer after a stint as an assistant at West Ham United.
- Raja faces AS FAR on Wednesday and meets Egypt's Al Ahly in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage in December.
