Al Ahly announce Ahmed Nabil Koka sustained lower-back injury during warm-ups

Al Ahly have announced that Ahmed Nabil Koka sustained a lower-back injury during warm-ups and will undergo an MRI.

• Koka was injured during warm-ups before the Egypt Capital Cup match against Al-Mokawloon and was replaced in the lineup by Akram Tawfik.
• Al Ahly beat Al-Mokawloon 1-0 at Cairo International Stadium in the second round of the Egypt Capital Cup.
• Team doctor Ahmed Gaballah said Koka has lower-back pain and will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the injury and the appropriate treatment program.
• Gaballah added that Koka attended a physiotherapy session under the supervision of the club's medical staff.
