Egypt halts land registration ban on Prince Abdel Manan waqf lands in three governorates

Egypt has suspended a registration ban on lands within the Waqf of Prince Mustafa Abdel Manan, following presidential directives, the prime minister said.

• Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi issued directives to halt work on Technical Memorandum No. 8 of 2026.
• The Real Estate Registration and Notarization Authority issued Memorandum No. 13 on November 4, lifting restrictions on registration and real estate transactions.
• The suspension covers lands in Damietta, Dakahlia, and Kafr El Sheikh governorates.
