- Sisi met with Major General Mohamed Abdel Fattah Abu Bakr, chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's board.
- Sisi reviewed a strategy to raise the manufacturing and technological capacity of the organization's factories in civilian and military fields.
- Abu Bakr presented the body's role in projects supporting public, freight, and light transport and in development projects in several African countries.
- Sisi directed continuing work to deepen local manufacturing, localize technology, attract domestic and foreign investment, and expand exports.
