Syrian president al-Sharaa visits Saudi Arabia with high-level delegation

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has arrived in Riyadh on an official visit, leading a delegation for talks and agreement signings.

• Al-Sharaa landed in Riyadh on Wednesday at the head of a delegation including the foreign, defense, finance and industry ministers and the intelligence chief.
• He is scheduled to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and sign agreements across various sectors, Syria's state news agency Sana reported.
• The visit is his second to Riyadh in a month; his October 6 trip was his first foreign visit since taking the presidency last year.
