Israeli airstrike kills a Palestinian in Gaza as ceasefire violations continue

An Israeli drone strike on a displaced-persons tent in central Gaza killed a Palestinian on Thursday amid ongoing strikes across the territory.

• An Israeli drone fired two missiles at a tent west of Zawaida, killing a Palestinian, medical sources said.
• A second strike on an apartment in Gaza City's Karama neighborhood injured a Palestinian; artillery and naval boats also fired on eastern Gaza.
• The Health Ministry said three Palestinians were killed and 21 injured on Wednesday, raising the war toll since October 2023 to 74,618 dead.
• The Government Media Office said Israeli forces have committed 5,989 ceasefire violations since the October 2025 truce, including 753 in October.
