Egyptian PM approves new financial benefits for medical professionals

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has approved new financial benefits for Egyptian medical professionals, including a monthly performance bonus and night-shift allowances.

• Madbouly issued the decision on Cabinet approval, covering medical staff at Ministry of Health entities, university hospitals, and student hospitals.
• The decision grants a 750-EGP monthly performance incentive, paid at 100%, 85%, or 50%, depending on each employee's performance evaluation rating.
• An additional allowance was approved for night and overnight shifts for consultants, specialists, resident doctors, pharmacists, and nursing staff.
