Egypt targets 30 million tourists by 2030 at WTM London

Egypt took part as Premier Partner in WTM London 2026, where Tourism Minister Sharif Fathi presented national tourism targets.

• Egypt participated as Premier Partner in WTM London 2026 for the first time, held November 3–5 in London.
• Fathi announced Egypt targets 30 million tourists by 2030 and 22 million in 2027, with 35,000–40,000 new hotel rooms expected in 2027.
• The Egyptian pavilion won Best Stand Design and Best Stand Activation awards at the fair.
• Fathi said Egypt aims to double British visitor numbers to 2 million within five years.
