Egypt's railway authority opens ticket booking through 15 electronic payment companies

The National Authority for Egyptian Railways has announced that passengers can book travel tickets through 15 contracted electronic payment and collection companies.

• The authority named the 15 approved companies, including Fawry, Aman, Khales, Al Ahly Momken, Daman and Magic Pay.
• It said outlets of the approved agents across the governorates will sell tickets, aiming to reduce crowding at station booking windows.
• The authority said the expansion serves the state's digital transformation and financial inclusion drive and offers varied payment options.
