Assiut governor inspects construction of stray dog shelter on Bani Ghaleb road

Major General Mohamed Alwan toured the site to review construction progress and utility connections at the planned shelter and veterinary clinic.

• Alwan inspected the project on Bani Ghaleb road, accompanied by Assiut city and center head Mostafa Mohamed Ibrahim and executive officials.
• The facility is to include kennels, a veterinary clinic, isolation and sterilization rooms, a food store and a sewage tank.
• The governor said coordination is under way with the drinking water, sanitation and electricity companies to complete utility connections.
• Alwan directed that remaining work be completed on schedule and that environmental and health requirements be met.
