Alberto Núñez Feijóo said Spain should withdraw from co-hosting the 2030 World Cup if the final is not played on Spanish soil.
- Feijóo said on the El Chiringuito programme Thursday that the final must be held "where it is fair, appropriate and indisputable: in Spain."
- Asked whether he would pull Spain's bid if Morocco won the final, Feijóo answered: "Yes. The answer is yes."
- Fouzi Lekjaa, head of Morocco's football federation, said in September the final would be held in Morocco "whether some like it or not."
- Feijóo accused Morocco of orchestrating an "invasion" of the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in late July and pledged a firm approach toward the kingdom if elected.
