Al Ahly to meet coach Ammouta on Sunday over January transfer targets

Al Ahly will meet coach Hussein Ammouta on Sunday to settle January transfer targets, with the scouting department's shortlist of defenders and holding midfielders ready.

• Al Ahly's scouting department has completed a list of candidates in central defence and defensive midfield for the coaching staff to review.
• A club source said Al Ahly may raise its January signings from two to three if defender Yasser Ibrahim leaves the club.
• The source said Ibrahim refuses to extend his contract, citing financial disputes with the club, and that Al Ahly is open to selling him in January.
• The shortlist includes Sharqia Enppi defender Ahmed Kalousha and USM Alger's Algerian defender Achraf Abada, the source said.
