Ahly football company chairman Ayman Fathi Hussein outlined the club's finances, saying ticket and broadcast income are weak while sponsorship is the main revenue source.
- Hussein said ticket income in Egypt is negligible and that roughly 600 million EGP from broadcasting over four years is a small figure.
- He stated sponsorship is the football company's main income, citing a 1.5-billion-EGP budget over four years and 16 sponsorship contracts worth up to 5 billion EGP from 2026.
- Hussein said Ahly runs 12 academies abroad in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Canada, and the US, funded mainly by Egyptians living overseas.
- He said Ahly received no donations from fans or board-member businessmen, holds financial surpluses, and pays about 250 million EGP in taxes.
- Hussein said donations must enter the club's budget for financial fair play, and direct payments to players outside official accounts are not clean play.
