Water Cut Scheduled in Cairo's Moqattam for Two Nights

Cairo Water Company will suspend supply to several Moqattam districts for eight hours each on Thursday and Friday for sewer line upgrades.

• The water cutoff will run from 10 PM Thursday 16 July to 6 AM Friday 17 July, and repeat from 10 PM Friday to 6 AM Saturday.
• Affected areas include Al-Hadaba al-Ulya, Masakin al-Zalzal, Asmarat, Golden Gates, and Art City.
• The company said the cut is needed to connect new sewage lines and will distribute free water tankers via hotline 125 or WhatsApp.
• The company asked residents, bakeries, and hospitals to store water and apologized for the disruption.
