The NFL suspended San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York for six games and fined him $500,000 after his August arrest in an Ohio prostitution sting.
- The league said York violated its personal conduct policy and credited the three games he missed this season toward his suspension.
- York was arrested in August by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force and pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, receiving one day in jail and a $1,150 fine.
- He will be eligible to return October 20, the day after the 49ers play Washington on Monday Night Football.
- York said he accepted the league's decision and called his conduct "an inexcusable mistake."
