Metropolitan Police have confirmed the death of the 44-year-old banker suspected of pushing a woman into the path of a bus on Putney Bridge.
- Nicholas Brandram, 44, was found unresponsive at his home in Chiswick, west London, on Tuesday evening and pronounced dead at the scene.
- Brandram was arrested in June on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm after CCTV showed a male jogger pushing a woman into the path of an oncoming bus on Putney Bridge in 2017.
- The Met said his death was being treated as unexpected but not believed to be suspicious, and that a file would be prepared for the coroner.
- Brandram, a senior HSBC private banker and former Scots Guards captain who served in Afghanistan, was the grandson of Princess Katherine of Greece.
