Netanyahu says Israel preparing for Palestinian security forces turning weapons on it in West Bank

Netanyahu told troops Tuesday that Israel is preparing for the scenario of Palestinian security forces turning their weapons on it in the West Bank.

• The military command presented Netanyahu and his defense minister a firm plan to respond with unprecedented force to any such move.
• Netanyahu said only the Israeli army will remain in and control the northern West Bank camps, claiming those there are armed men, not civilians.
• Netanyahu reiterated rejection of any Arab military force west of the Jordan River, saying security deployment in those areas is limited to the Israeli army.
