Dakahlia Governor Interrupts Motorcade to Seize Unlicensed Motorcycle Causing Noise

Dakahlia Governor Tariq Marzouk stopped his motorcade during an inspection tour in Mansoura to impound an unlicensed motorcycle for disturbing residents.

• Marzouk halted his motorcade on Chest Hospital Street, seized the unlicensed motorcycle, and ordered it impounded at the Dakahlia Traffic Department.
• Marzouk directed that the motorcycle not be released without his written authorization and that legal action be taken against its rider.
• Marzouk ordered daily campaigns to seize vehicles and sound equipment causing noise pollution and to confiscate offending vehicles.
• The governor stated that no leniency would be shown toward any vehicle that disturbs citizens or violates traffic and environmental regulations.
