Egypt's cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, approved 12 decisions covering land, housing, tourism, health, and the Nile.
- The cabinet extended by six months the period for state land legalization requests and building violation reconciliation applications, the latter starting November 5, 2026.
- It approved extending the London exhibition "Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs" by four months, to January 3, 2027.
- The cabinet approved allocating 43 land plots in new cities to companies for purchase in US dollars from abroad.
- It reviewed the Health Accreditation and Control Authority's annual report, which stated it accredited 339 facilities in 2025/26, up from 202 the prior year.
- The report recorded 2,101 field inspection visits, a 22% increase across 24 governorates, and 95 training programs for about 18,000 trainees.
- The extension follows a request from the exhibition organizers due to strong visitor turnout for its roughly 180 artifacts.
- The extended period excludes time allocated for packing, transport, and shipping of the artifacts.
- The cabinet approved listing the national project to regulate the Nile and its branches as a major project in the water ministry's 2026-2029 budget.
