Al-Nassr defender Al-Sharari out with hamstring tear

Medical scans have confirmed Al-Nassr defender Nader Al-Sharari suffered a hamstring tear, sidelining him for two to three weeks.

• Scans taken Saturday confirmed Al-Sharari tore his hamstring after reporting pain during a treatment session, the Al-Riyadiya newspaper reported.
• The defender is expected to miss at least four Saudi Pro League matches — against Neom, Al-Faisaly, Al-Kholood and Al-Hazm — plus two Asian Champions League fixtures.
• Al-Nassr, third in the Saudi Pro League with 19 points, hosts Neom on Tuesday at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh.
