Israel has launched fresh airstrikes and artillery on southern Lebanese towns, weeks after Beirut and Tel Aviv signed a framework agreement on gradual Israeli withdrawal.
- Israeli warplanes struck Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tibnit with four raids, including two near al-Dabsha hill, while artillery hit Zawtar al-Sharqiya.
- Israeli forces carried out explosions and heavy machine-gun sweeps near Arnoun and detonations in Mansouri.
- The attacks have persisted despite the framework agreement signed June 26, under which Israel would withdraw gradually as the Lebanese army deployed.
- President Joseph Aoun said Lebanon is indivisible and reaffirmed the state's commitment to full sovereignty over all its territory.
