The Beheira Governorate has initiated a multi-faceted development program targeting cultural heritage preservation, arts infrastructure, and digital training.
- The Beheira Governorate signed a cooperation protocol with the National Library and Archives to restore the Municipal Library of Damanhur, which was established in 1930 by King Fuad and houses rare books, manuscripts, maps, and historical documents.
- Authorities are renovating the Damanhur Culture and Arts Complex, updating its main theater with new sound and lighting systems, ballet hall equipment, and air conditioning.
- The governorate is upgrading the Damanhur Computer Sciences Training Center into a regional hub for digital training, including AI and programming courses for students and employees.
- Governor Jacqueline Azar said the projects invest in culture, science, and technology, transforming the governorate's historical and scientific institutions into community service centers.
