Egypt Sports Meeting Outlines National Team Preparations and Club Partnership Plan

Minister Gohar Nabil met with football and sports officials to discuss the national team's readiness for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

• Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil convened a meeting with Hani Abou Rida and Ahmed Diab on July 14.
• The meeting discussed the national team's preparation program, including a September training camp for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
• The ministry statement said the meeting also covered coordination of league break periods to support the technical staff led by Hossam Hassan.
• The meeting reviewed support for popular clubs through partnerships with private-sector clubs, following two memoranda of understanding signed between Sharkia and Enppi and between Montakhab El-Suez and Petrojet.
