- Manager Andy Green said a CT scan came back negative and that Young retains full use of his extremities while experiencing concussion symptoms.
- Green said Young asked "What happened?" upon regaining consciousness before being immobilized on the cart.
- McLean finished the inning, striking out Garrett Stubbs, before Green removed him at the start of the seventh.
- Young will miss the rest of the season with the concussion, the Mets said.
- He was discharged from hospital and is recovering at home with a headache and some memory loss.
- The Mets plan to recall infielder Ronny Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse to replace Young.
