A 45-year-old man shot dead eight people inside an Erie, Pennsylvania, home Friday before taking his own life.
- Police Chief Rick Lorah said the gunman was related to seven of the eight victims, including the pregnant woman and her children.
- Julius Windham, whose 1-year-old daughter was killed, said the gunman never seemed distressed and called his demeanor "a front."
- Two "distressed" women who arrived and pounded on the door were shot as they ran toward the gunman, police said.
- Lorah declined to discuss motive but said mental health could be a factor and investigators would examine the women's cellphones.
