Tunnel boring machine arrives at King Al-Saleh station on Cairo Metro Line 4

The tunnel boring machine for Cairo Metro Line 4 has arrived at King Al-Saleh station from Al-Fustat as part of first-phase works.
- The tunnel boring machine reached King Al-Saleh station from Al-Fustat on the 19-kilometer, 17-station first phase linking 6th of October to Al-Fustat.
- National Authority for Tunnels head Tarek Gawely witnessed the machine's exit from the tunnel opening at the station.
- Gawely announced six of 24 planned trains for the first phase have arrived and are undergoing static and dynamic testing.
- The authority said the Egyptian Company for Metro and Monorail Management will operate Line 4 by the end of 2027.
