New Valley expands solar energy with 8 MW plant in Farafra

New Valley Governor Hanan Magdy has announced the construction of an 8 MW solar power station on 80 feddans in Farafra.

• Magdy announced the expansion of renewable energy projects in Farafra with a new 8 MW solar station.
• She inspected the existing 5 MW solar station connected to the electricity generation complex.
• She visited the allocated site spanning 80 feddans for the new station, which also includes battery storage of the same capacity.
• Magdy directed the prompt completion of technical studies and coordination with relevant authorities to begin executive procedures.
