Egypt's Meteorological Authority warns of rising heat and humidity across the country

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has forecast continued hot and humid weather, with humidity making the felt temperature higher than the actual reading.

• The Authority stated that the weather will be hot and humid during the day on most governorates, and very hot in the south.
• The expected maximum temperature in Greater Cairo is 35°C, but humidity will raise the felt temperature by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
• The Authority noted weak chances of low clouds over parts of the northern coast, Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and Canal cities, possibly accompanied by light drizzle.
• Wind speeds of 30 to 40 km/h are expected intermittently, with higher waves of 1.5 to 2.25 meters on some northern coasts.
