Egyptian cabinet suspends Sunday remote work system

Egypt's cabinet has approved suspending the remote work system that required Sunday work-from-home at covered agencies.

• The Council of Ministers approved a draft decision halting implementation of Prime Minister's Decision No. 982 of 2026.
• The cabinet convened Wednesday under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to review the measure.
• The suspension applies to employees at facilities and entities designated in Decision 982 of 2026.
